How can you qualify for advertising credit?

  1. Complete all activities within the Facing Facts Online Hate Speech course, including participation in tutorials and discussion forum.  This means registration for the Premium package (cost 30 euros).
  2. Complete a short application form which explains your campaign and the organisation which is behind it. 

Become a Trusted Flagger

Trusted Flaggers are NGOs that demonstrate expertise in and commitment to reporting online hate speech to the host platforms. This status is granted to NGOs who are trusted to responsibly make use of a privileged communication channel. The host platforms appreciate the NGO’s  ability to identify local or theme-specific nuances in the process of flagging hateful online content.

Do you want to fast-track your reports of hateful content?  The Facing Facts Online course on Hate Speech can help facilitate your qualification, on behalf of your organisation, as a Trusted Flagger, giving you a direct channel to social media companies, such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

In order to qualify, you should be part of an organisation which is committing to a regular and systematic monitoring of online hate speech. In this case, your organisation should also be interested in requesting membership in the International Network Against Cyberhate.  This membership will connect and support you in a collaborative working network with other like-minded organisations who are addressing the problem of hate speech online.

How can you qualify as a trusted flagger?

  1. Complete all activities within the Facing Facts Online Hate Speech course, including participation in tutorials and discussion forum.  This means registration for the Premium package (cost 30 euros).
  2. Complete a short  application form which will include a description of your organisation’s activities and its plan for monitoring online hate speech. The application will be subject to final approval by INACH (for INACH membership) and the social media platform(s) concerned (for Trusted Flagger status).
